Don't chew on your pencil......until now!

To focus on speaking clearly and slowly during drama today, speeches were delivered with pencils held across the mouth.

Remember these tips when practicing for the Wax Museum:

1. Know it! (Familiarize yourself with your speech. Memorization helps, notecards are a safety net.)
Say it:
2. Loudly! (Project your voice to the audience.)
3. Clearly! (Annunciate each sound.)
4. Slowly! (Motor speech is too difficult to follow.)
5. With expression! (Intonation and voice expression adds interest.)
