Subtraction Chant

Place value, basic facts, and mulit-step processing are a few of the many skills required to solve subtraction problems with regrouping. Studies have shown that chants and songs are helpful for young minds to grasp such concepts. With that in mind, we chanted our way through two and three digit subtraction problems today. I encourage students to share a chant with you as they complete their homework tonight.
