Autumnal Equinox

Making connections is a key strategy for building vocabulary. Our brainstorm of words beginning with "equ-" included equal, equilateral, equality, and equator. Using our understanding of these familiar words lead to our discovery of this special moment of equal amounts of night and day. Fall is finally here!
